Dr. William L. Edwards, DMD, FICOI
Dr. William “Will” Edwards is a Rome, GA dentist and the owner of William L. Edwards Dentistry. Born and raised in Rome, Dr. Edwards is proud to serve patients and families throughout Northwest Georgia with comprehensive, patient-centered dental care.
After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2011, Dr. Edwards attended the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2017. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in St. Petersburg, Florida through the University of Florida.
Through this advanced training, Dr. Edwards received additional experience in the placement of dental implants, oral surgery, advanced prosthodontics, endodontics, and conscious sedation. His achievements in this program earned him fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Edwards joined Dr. Dismuke’s practice in July 2018 and later became owner of the practice in January 2019. Today, William L. Edwards Dentistry provides a wide range of dental services for patients in Rome, GA, including general dentistry, restorative dentistry, dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, sedation dentistry, and emergency dental appointments.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Edwards enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, riding bikes, golfing, hunting, fishing, and being outside.
Dr. Lauren Lindsey
Dr. Lauren Lindsey is a Rome, GA dentist and Cedartown native who is proud to care for patients close to home. She has been part of William L. Edwards Dentistry since 2020 and is excited to continue serving patients and families throughout Rome, Cedartown, Floyd County, and Northwest Georgia.
Dr. Lindsey graduated from Cedartown High School before attending the University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology in 2022. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia in May 2026.
Having spent several years in the office before becoming a dentist, Dr. Lindsey understands the importance of creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient. She is passionate about patient-centered dental care and enjoys helping patients feel informed, confident, and at ease during their visits.
Dr. Lindsey provides comprehensive dental care with a focus on building lasting relationships with patients. Her local roots and familiarity with the practice make her a natural fit for the William L. Edwards Dentistry team.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lindsey enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Miles, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and being with her dog, Baxter. She and Miles are looking forward to their wedding in October 2026.
