In all of our treatments, we keep your comfort as a priority! We know that going to the dentist can be an intimidating process, especially for patients who have experienced pain or trauma during past dental work. To help you feel comfortable, we offer dental sedation. Here’s how it works:
1. Before your appointment: Ask a family member or friend to drive you to and from your appointment. On the night before, don’t eat anything after 12 am. When you come in first thing in the morning the day of your appointment, we’ll provide you with everything you need to be more comfortable, even a blanket and pillow.
2. During your appointment: Once you’re signed in and in your exam room, we’ll give you a safe sedation pill. This will allow you to undergo multiple procedures at once, and you won’t even feel a thing! This pill calms all nerves and takes you into a twilight sedative state. While asleep, our team will perform your procedure.
3. After your appointment: After your procedure, we will wake you up and your driver will take you home! You’ll recover in the comfort of your own space. The next day, you should feel no discomfort or residual effects from your dental visit. You might not remember it at all.
